Yes. This one broke too. Long story. New link posted above! All entries so far count.

I know: According to authentic retro etiquette, it’s way too early to talk Christmas decorations. But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. WOOT!

Suzy of Georgia Peachez
Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:

Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.

Heck to the yeah, knee hugger elf and reindeer! Thank you, Suzy!

Beautiful wreath! I love the oppurtunity to use bulbs that might just end up lingering in the bottom of the box because they’re too fragile for the tree.
My favorite holiday things is, of course, the decorating! I’m always excited to bring out things that haven’t been seen or used since last year and enjoy them some more!

My favorite part of the season is getting out all my ornaments–lots of vintage ones from my parents–and decorating my aluminum Christmas tree!

My favorite part of the holidays is seeing my family. I live out of state, and it’s a highlight to see them Georgia’s wreaths remind me of my grandmother’s and great-grandmother’s Christmas decorations, and brings me back to those family gatherings when I was a child.

What I love most about the holidays…. For the last 5 years we have done alot of outdoor decorations/lights and have found that we are a ‘tradition’ with many folks. They bring their kids every year to see the house and see if they can pick out what’s new (of course we always add to the decorations) I’m not sure there is anything better than becoming a tradition for families?! This wreath would be perfect for our mid century modern home and really be a highlight to our indoor deco.

Christmas to me is about memories. Remembering old ones and making new ones. This year I lost 3 of my loved ones so I am both dreading and looking forward to the season. I will try to focus on the fun I have had and the fun I will be having and let the sadness go.
I am so looking forward to getting my little house all festooned in my kitchy revelry and decorating my vintage trailer too… that wreath would look fantastic on it!!! Thanks for the fab blog!

Opening the boxes of vintage ornaments passed down through the years. As we hang each one, we think of who and where it came from. We bring them to life in those moments. The ornaments are our link to a past.

I love the weather, being with my family and crafting things to give my far away relatives. I love to knit so I can actually wear some of the warmer things I make when it’s this time of year.

New traditions are being made here. My favorite part is still cooking and eating! And I’m so glad I have a lot of the old ornaments and decor I grew up with. Decorating with those makes me so happy. It’s the single gals club over here, bring on the shiny wreaths for cheer!

My favorite part of the holiday still is decorating the tree. Growing up it was “THE EVENT” to get the tree and decorate it. We had the wonderful Shiny Brite ornaments as a kid and what beautiful memories I have of those times. I can do without all the holiday baking, cards, etc …. but the tree trimming is it in this family. Thanks for the opportunity to win this!
