Yes. This one broke too. Long story. New link posted above! All entries so far count.

I know: According to authentic retro etiquette, it’s way too early to talk Christmas decorations. But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. WOOT!

Suzy of Georgia Peachez
Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:

Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.

Heck to the yeah, knee hugger elf and reindeer! Thank you, Suzy!

My favorite part of the holiday is enjoying the smell of the tree while decorating with treasured ornaments that ive received from family and friends, especially those that have passed on. Thinking of the times shared with them makes the holidays that much better.

I love these wreaths so darn much. My favorite part of the holiday season is twofold. First, scouring the thrifts to add to my vintage Xmas collection and second, unwrapping all my previously thrifted goodies and displaying them. They make me so happy.

MY favorite part of Christmas is elf on a shelf and my kids looking for him every morning and seeing my kids faces when they first walk out and see their gifts Santa left for them.

What I love most about the holidays is everything! I make myself wait until after Halloween to listen to Christmas music (sometimes). My favorite carols are either the Rat Pack, Charlie Brown
Christmas by Vince Guaraldi, and a Christmas Gift For You From Phil Spector. I love spending time with my loved ones. Of course, my very favorite holiday movie is that mid-century modern classic “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer”!

I love the memories! My grandmother brought out her best crystal and played Christmas music all day. Miss her so much right now.:)

The colors, the traditions, the food. I go back to when I was a kid and my gramma and I would wrap presents, or when my dad and brought home a gigantic Christmas tree. I ponder a baby born so many years ago…

My favorite part of Christmas is the Christmas tree and the lights with soft music in the background. Many memories and reflections happen.

The best part of Christmas for me is getting together with my extended family. The last few years have been tough for me and they’ve always been there for me. It feels good to have us all together sharing a meal and making memories.

I get very nostalgic around Christmas. Every year it seems I find myself hunting down the vintage decorations I grew up with. Sadly, all of our family decorations were stolen during a move. But, my mother-in-law has helped with donating ornaments to us that used to belong to my husband’s grandmothers. We decorate the tree together while listening to the Christmas classics. It really gets us feeling the spirit.

For many years, when I finished weeks of decorating, my mom would bring carloads of her elderly friends over to recall their Christmas memories. Those were some of the best Christmases ever…doing for others & seeing their smiles! Suzy’s wreaths bring happy memories for me.
