Yes. This one broke too. Long story. New link posted above! All entries so far count.

I know: According to authentic retro etiquette, it’s way too early to talk Christmas decorations. But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. WOOT!

Suzy of Georgia Peachez
Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:

Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.

Heck to the yeah, knee hugger elf and reindeer! Thank you, Suzy!

Instructions to enter to win the Shiny Brite wreath made by Georgia Peachez:

My husband and I do not have kids and we do not exchange presents.

My favorite part of the season is giving to those that can not in any way give back. I love delivering groceries and gifts to shut-ins, wrapping presents for kids on our “giving tree” or donating to care packages for our soldiers who aren’t able to be home for Christmas.

Christmas for me is giving to those in need not in want.

    Merry Christmas!

While there is so much gloom and doom in this world, at Christmas, the world seems a nicer place. Many times, the true nature of people (kind, generous, peacable) comes out. That makes this season the best to me.

These are beautiful! I’d love for my little boys to see this everyday over the holidays and get a taste of how far-out and candy-colored Christmas was way back when. It was really dazzling, wasn’t it? Thanks Pam and Georgia. Just giving us the chance to admire and harken back is a gift. =)

My favorite part of the Christmas season is the joyous Christmas carols, the sparkling lights, the wonderful smells of baking cookies and frasier fir
the hope for a brighter future, the opportunities to make special wishes come true, the love shared amongst family and friends, but most of all the beautiful remembrance of the beautiful baby Jesus who was given to us so that we may have everlasting life, love and beauty forever! PEACE ON EARTH

The holidays for me are about reflection over the year that’s past….looking forward to a new beginning the next year…..and remembering the loved ones we miss.

This is beautiful! I love Christmas- the ornaments, lights, greens…but my favorite part is the spirit. Celebration friends, family and our holy family!

I used to love playing with all the Christmas knick-knacks around the house, especially a vintage Santa and reindeer set. Now my favorite part is listening to Christmas music nonstop!

My favorite part of holidays is family, cooking, eating, watching old TV shows, the new Doctor Who… mostly being with my family in my old ’50s ranch!

We are in that secret society of people who start decorating early for the holidays. Reason? If we don’t then we do not have Christmas. We are in hospitality and service industries, so business is amplified beginning after Halloween. We have to squeeze in those special holiday moments. My husband and I also do not exchange gifts-Christmas, birthday, anniversary, etc…instead we do things together or buy large items or trips, etc…For Christmas, our gift to each other is decorating for Christmas a little at a time. Through the years (and 25 years of me teaching dance and receiving hundreds of ornaments), we have accumulated LOTS of ornaments. I already had a themed ballerina tree, of course. The first year we were married, we tried to consolidate Christmas stuff and realized we had an entire tub of Santa ornaments….hence the theme trees begin! We now have a tree in every room; and we take our sweet time and put them up one at a time spread out during the month of November. By Thanksgiving weekend they are all up, and we can enjoy stress-free. We will host my family for Christmas this year. I am writing this message on November 2. Time to go get the first tree. Seasons Blessings!

My favorite part of the holidays would be the memories involved setting up the Christmas tree and decorations, baking cookies with my grandchildren, spending Christmas Eve with all the family, all of it!
