It turns out, we’ve featured Lynne and her knotty-pine + pink bathroom in this story!  Thanks, everyone, for playing — we’ll do it again next year! P.S. My friend Danielle and I made our own wreaths last night — they turned out FABULOUS! Story to come.

But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. Suzy of Georgia Peachez
Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:

Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.

Heck to the yeah, knee hugger elf and reindeer! Thank you, Suzy!

Every year I go out and photograph Christmas decorations, which is probably my most favorite thing to do. Then a few years ago, I started collecting Santas. We finally sold our house so the santas are not homeless because they have been promised to a friend who lusted over them for years, but now I need new inspiration inside. My favorite part of Christmas is everything: the chaos, the family, the decorations, the love, the drama, the lights etc etc.!!!!

I was always the one in our family who could not wait for Halloween to be over so that I could start to bust out the Christmas decorations. Being from a rather large family we had a really large collection of hand-me-down decorations including the Knee-Hugging-Elves and Reindeer that you showcase in the wreath. They were always among my favorites and I was ecstatic whenever the claymation shows would come on with them in it. Your wreath takes me back to a long ago time that still warms my heart. I have been trying to get my relatives to spare their old ornaments a horrible fate and let me re-invent them as you have. You are an inspiration.

My favorite part of Christmas is long snowy days where school is canceled and we all get to stay home and create yummy things in the kitchen, watch old holiday movies and just chill!

Oh, and my favorite part of the holidays is finding vintage decoration, like we had when I was a kid! And twinkley lights. And Ugly Christmas Sweater parties. And the Elf on the Shelf. And Elf, the movie. And…

I adore everything about Christmas. Particularly my retro decorations from bottle brush trees to shiny brite ornaments. This year will be particularly fun as my 3 year old finally understands more about the holidays and the fun of decorating and cooking and just coming together as a family to enjoy and celebrate. (And, of course, she understands the concept of presents this year!)

I love so many things about the holidays-spending time with family and friends, eating delicious foods, enjoying all of the decorations and lights!

My favorite thing about the holidays is spending time with my loved ones wether it’s decorating the house together, going to a Christmas play or driving around to look at the Christmas lights. The holidays are heavenly 🙂

My favorite part of the holidays has always been the peaceful times with my family sitting around the fire place. This Christmas we are particularly lucky in that we have our precious grandson to join us! Lucky indeed and I LOVE your website!
