people’s faces in the stores. Something magical starts to happen
when the first inking of decorations start popping up. You see it
in the smiles on people’s faces, conversations and the kindness

It makes me happy to unpack and reminisce over my favorite special ornaments each Christmas. Some of these go back to my childhood family home, and others I have acquired over the years. And it is great fun to add a few vintage finds to the Christmas collection each year. Lots of warm memories of family and friends and happy times!

my favourite part of christmas is before the holiday starts. walking through the historic downtown areas and seeing people come alive shopping and milling about. when people come together in a way unlike the rest of the year, i think that is special.

We prepare breakfast the night before… Egg casserole and cranberry apple strudel. We open presents I our Jammie’s and lazily enjoy breakfast … Simple and good… Together!

I subscribe. My favorite part of the holiday season is the lights and decorations everywhere I look! Not just my own, but the neighbors, the stores, the businesses — all of it! Some of our neighbors really go all out and it’s so much fun to visit the decorated houses!
