ENTRIES NOW CLOSED. Update: Congratulations to Lynne, winner of this year’s Georgia Peachez wreath. It turns out, we’ve featured Lynne and her knotty-pine + pink bathroom in this story!  Thanks, everyone, for playing — we’ll do it again next year! P.S. My friend Danielle and I made our own wreaths last night — they turned out FABULOUS! Story to come.

I know: According to authentic retro etiquette, it’s way too early to talk Christmas decorations. But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. WOOT!

Suzy of Georgia Peachez
Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:

Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.

Heck to the yeah, knee hugger elf and reindeer! Thank you, Suzy!

First things first, I Love all your wreaths. Suzy your the Greatest and
Thank You So Much for your loving generosity.
The things I Love most about the Holiday Season is the smiles on
people’s faces in the stores. Something magical starts to happen
when the first inking of decorations start popping up. You see it
in the smiles on people’s faces, conversations and the kindness
we show to one another. Don’t ever underestimate the loving
power a Holiday Decoration can bring.

It makes me happy to unpack and reminisce over my favorite special ornaments each Christmas. Some of these go back to my childhood family home, and others I have acquired over the years. And it is great fun to add a few vintage finds to the Christmas collection each year. Lots of warm memories of family and friends and happy times!

my favourite part of christmas is before the holiday starts. walking through the historic downtown areas and seeing people come alive shopping and milling about. when people come together in a way unlike the rest of the year, i think that is special.

My favorite part of the holiday season is decorating our three Christmas trees (two vintage aluminum trees and one regular green tree).

We prepare breakfast the night before… Egg casserole and cranberry apple strudel. We open presents I our Jammie’s and lazily enjoy breakfast … Simple and good… Together!

    Great wreath!!!!!!

I subscribe. My favorite part of the holiday season is the lights and decorations everywhere I look! Not just my own, but the neighbors, the stores, the businesses — all of it! Some of our neighbors really go all out and it’s so much fun to visit the decorated houses!

I Love Christmas! My favorite part is unwrapping all of my vintage ornaments and hanging them on our tree. I look forward to seeing the goodies that Georgia Peachez makes too! Thanks for the chance to win the beautiful wreath! Merry Christmas!
