Update: Congratulation to Richard, the happy winner of this wreath giveaway. His number came up in the random. Thanks, everyone, for playing, and super thanks to Suzy for helping with this giveaway this year! ENTRIES NOW CLOSED.

Howdy, hudee — it’s time for our most awaited yearly giveaway on the blog: One lucky winner will win this gorgeous vintage ornament wreath, handcrafted by the Queen o’ Ornament Wreaths, the original trendsetter, the talented Suzy a.k.a. GeorgiaPeachez herself! These wreaths sell out fast in GeorgiaPeachez’s shop, so this is your chance to get one of these coveted creations for yourself. Note: What with Pam’s trip to Pittsburgh and Thanksgiving upon us, we will be taking next week off. Happy happy, everyone — see you on the 30th.

As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!

In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. You can see a lot of her adorable creations on GeorgiaPeachez’s Facebook page. Bottom line, we just luv this lady!

Oh Christmas, how I love the nostalgia and loving memories you bring about. Unpacking and displaying all my vintage decor from friends and family who come to share the day or live on through the sharing of what they have left behind. Sharing with young people the joys of an old fashioned holiday that relies on sparkle, magic and yes, good food instead of techno and material excess. And reaching out to those you have not connected with in a while, to let them know you still think about them and love them no matter how busy the world gets.

my favorite part of the holiday season is waking up to, “Santa came!” I love listening to my kids get up early on Christmas morning and talk to each other as they delight over the simple things in their stockings.

The holidays remind me of being a kid & visiting my Grandparents house in Bakersfield. It was the smallest house, but it fit the whole family & the kids would all sleep under the dining room table at night in our sleeping bags. Happiest times.

My favorite part of the holiday is the time spent with family and friends on Christmas Eve. That’s when I’m right in the midst of the holiday surrounded by those I love but there is still anticipation and excitement for Christmas Day and what it may hold.

My favorite thing about the holidays is having our nuclear family at home and snugging in while everyone is out of school. There’s nothing better!

Christmas is so much about family being together, eating too much, sharing stories, laughing at each other, sharing special SMALL gifts and watching the kiddos having the time of their lives! My husband has 6 siblings, all are married, all of us have kids and some of those kids have kids. We’ve ralked about renting out a lodge for all of us at Christmas time. I have 3 sisters, we’re all married with children and we still go to my Mother and Dad’s for Christmas, lots of Christmas fun!

I love everything about Christmas, from celebrating Jesus’ birthday to playing games and spending time with my family. And of course, all the glittery, beautiful decorations!! Driving around looking for the most “Griswold-ish” house decor is a favorite too, after watching the movie.
