Some great stuff in here for your holiday gifting: A paper hostess dress, a chartreuse-and-green cake serving set, faux Beatles cake toppers, and just what Everyone needs: Giant Sexton fork-and-spoon set.

Some fun stuff in here: Check out the Sexton Genie Bottles, very cool — but line ‘em up, that’s the way to display them! I also spotted a MIB vintage Sears medicine cabinet with lights…vintage Ethan Allen fabric…a Moe Sputnik light (!)…and first up, 7 double rolls of metallic Birge wallpaper. For a foyer perhaps…

With Christmas coming I am on the hunt for mint-in-box items that, under your tree, will set the mood for… 1964. In this bunch — notice the two great bucket purse kits. And when have you ever seen a Bubble-o-Bill Bubble Hat. There also is an Easy Bake Oven. My mom and dad would not let me have one of those. No batteries allowed in our house, it would have bankrupted us. I was so deprived, woe is me.

Vintage MIB Nutone alert — however, make sure you know what you’re doing before installing this old stuff. There’s also vintage Vera and Lilly Pulitzer, a lovely Syroco alarm clock, some great 70s metallic walllpaper, and the first Moss lamp I’ve shown on the blog.

Oh my, this is one of the best MIB madness carousels yet. MIB Club Aluminum, in 70s avocado green. A Virtue dining set – gorgeous – in Bolivar, Missouri. MIB Melmac (ends today!) Parisian Prints linen towels with kitties and Santas.Bathroom chenille, GE Telechron, and a Jet-O-Matic that’s Dine-O-Mite. Are you ready yet for Santa’s big day?

Yesterday we discussed how to ensure eBay items arrived safely. I also noted on Gretchen’s blog that she had posted the link to craigslist’s safety tips. Take care in all you do, readers: Renovating… buying online… picking up purchases from folks….

I purchased this vintage wallpaper earlier this year off ebay - in my view, it was not packed well and arrived broken up like this. The seller was very accommodating, apologized and gave me a refund immediately. Even so, it was sad because I liked the paper, and the price.
A reader recently reported that a lovely glass item bought off of ebay arrived broken. This situation has happened also to me, at least twice, in the past year. A gorgeous — and in some respects *priceless* find — was packaged with inadequate cushioning. And of course it breaks. Heck yeah there is more…

Okay, so *everything* is not MIB in this set. But there’s some really cool stuff here. I note that the Sexton cats — set of three — are becoming must-haves for any mid century interior. Tip: If their finish is all clawed up, spray paint them in a high gloss 60s or 70s color like Brady Bunch kitchen countertop orange… avocado… chartreuse… or ?

PostnBeam spotted this on ebay and posted it on the Forum. It’s a MIB “Beautyware Cleanser Cabinet.” All metal, with plastic inserts — a great little storage item for your vintage bathroom. Read more description and get the link to the auction after the jump. Heck yeah there is more…
